All innovative technologies competing in the competition were judged on impact, business model, innovativeness, scalability and responsibility.
In 2020, the program reached out to more collaborators, strengthening its partnerships and innovation by rebranding from Accenture to the Blue Tulip Awards. Holland is well-known known for developing and cultivating a vast range of tulip varieties, but an entire blue tulip is still, as of to date, unachievable. The name of the award is a symbol representing their pursuit of world-changing innovations.
