Transforming tourism is the main purpose of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) in 2021 and for the years to come, but this change has to be done in a sustainable and eco-friendly way.

To reach this goal, startups from around the world have been recognized for their unique contributions to sustainable and responsible tourism in the UNWTO Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Global Startup Competition.

Among 10,000 initial proposals BeFC emerged in the list of the 25 winners of the SDGs Global Startup Competition in the category "affordable and clean energy" along with Enexor BioEnergy (United States of America) and Swimsol (Austria).Congratulations to all!
