Thierry FENSCH has more than 40 years’ experience in semi-conductors, from product developments to R&D collaborations, and key customers relationships. He has been particularly focused on ecosystem development in the past years as Innovation& Collaboration Director in STMicroelectronics Grenoble, with start-up support and acceleration processes in the frame of eco-system innovation, setting-up partnerships with the right shared value.
In parallel to working at STMicroelectronics, he has also been very involved with academic research and education, as well as competitive clusters, for new technologies, developments and applications scouting.
Thierry FENSCH is a Telecom Engineer (IMT Atlantic 1981) plus a PhD from INPG (1984), he has started his engineering carrier in 1981 as telecom analog integrated devices design, for wired communications (RNIS, ADSL) then wireless applications (GSM, 3G), in EFCIS, Thomson Semiconductor and finally STMicroelectronics since 1987.He has been detached to National Semiconductor in Santa-Clara from 1990 to 1992 as design leader for a complex mixed signal Modem device. In STMicroelectronics he has then handled several positions in R&D and Programs Managements for large customers and contributed to many new products for the market in the telecommunication field where he contributed to 13 patents.
He is now engaged to share his experience and network with young companies that get the right skills but understand the value of the experienced experts with global view.
