Michael HOLZINGER is CNRS senior researcher in the Biosystèmes Électrochimiques & Analytiques (BEA) team at the Département de Chimie Moléculaire (DCM) in Grenoble. Michael started his academic career in the late nineties working on the functionalization of carbon nanotubes at University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany. Then, he joined the group of Dr. Patrick Bernier at the University of Montpellier II, France and the Dr. Siegmar Roth team at Max Planck Institute for solid state research in Stuttgart, Germany.
After a short stay at the Robert Bosch GmbH in Schwieberdingen, Germany, he joins the BEA team at the DCM in 2006. Since that time his research interest is focused on the development of biosensors and biofuel cells based on functionalised nanomaterials.
