Alan LE GOFF is a Research Fellow (CR)/CNRS at Département de Chimie Moléculaire (DCM) and has been at Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) since 2009. He graduated from the Université de Brest in 2006 (PhD, synthesis and electrochemistry for biomimetic complexes). He then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at CEA Saclay on the functionalisation of carbon materials, and then for the Carbon Nanotechnology Group at the University of Trieste in Italy on nanostructured microelectrodes.
His expertise revolves around molecular electrochemistry, bioelectrochemistry, bio-inorganic chemistry and nanomaterial surface functionalisation. His latest research themes focus on redox-active nanomaterials based on metallo-enzymes and bio-inspired complexes without noble metals for the activation of small molecules in fuel cells and biosensors.
