After obtaining a master’s in mechanical engineering from INSA Lyon and spending a year volunteering for an NGO in Burkina Faso, Chris began his career in the Grenoble micro-electronics industry designing wafer-level testing equipment. He then joined a CEA startup to lead a team of engineers developing the assembly process of an innovative RFID device embedded in a textile thread. His team successfully scaled the manufacturing from manual fabrication in a lab to producing millions of RFID devices per year on a fully automated production line. Chris brings his extensive experience in process and equipment R&D to BeFC as it scales up its manufacturing capacity.
