This evening took place in an exceptional setting at Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac and highlighted many innovative technologies including : Coqli.co, Papkot and BeFC, the papers and cardboards of the 21st century.
"Paper is one of the most inspiring materials in the world of innovation. Renewable and recyclable material, it seduces by its ability to transform for new uses, while retaining its environmental assets." - Adeline Abegg, CITEO
Among the first speakers: Bertrand Piccard, pioneer of solar aviation, has taken the stage using his oratorical skills to share his vision on circular economy and how sustainability can be profitable. BeFC is also proud to be labeled as a sustainable and profitable solution by the Solar Impulse Foundation .
Dr. Jules HAMMOND, CEO of BeFC, then went on stage in front of more than 500 people to compete against 12 finalists with less than 2 min and the goal of catching the live audience's attention, which he has done successfully as BeFC is now awardee of the 2021 CITEO Circular Challenge.
"Sometimes you have to go around in circles to move forward." - BeFC
As a laureate of the CITEO accelerator, BeFC has now the chance to work on validating and improving the recyclability of our products with mentors : Carole Berrard and Charlotte Patinier De Ruyver. We are thankful for this opportunity of assessing the life cycle of BeFC biofuel cells and electronic platforms further in the waste treatment lines.
